Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

August 19, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Owlcat Games and Deep Silver’s critically acclaimed Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition is now available on Xbox One and Playstation 4.  Travel to the Stolen Lands in a classic RPG that features all previously released content packs as well as a brand new turn-based mode.  Enjoy the new console launch trailer below…

Prepare for adventure as Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition takes players on a journey through the Stolen Lands, a deadly, hazard-filled region that has caused the sad end to many a brave (and some may say foolhardy) adventurer.  Explore these lands and carve out a kingdom within the wilderness and shape the kingdom into a living breathing land shaped by rules and sound decisions.

This new RPG will revisit well-known locations from the lore of the franchise and meet characters familiar to fans while also experiencing new adventures, deadly enemies and unexpected twists.

The Definitive Edition will feature all previously released DLCs including:

  • The Wildcards.
  • Varnhold’s Lot.
  • Beneath The Stolen Lands.
  • Bloody Mess.
  • Arcane Unleashed.
  • Royal Ascension.

The game will also feature a brand new turn-based mode that works alongside the real-time with pause combat and adds a new tactical layer to the game.  This mode will become available to PC players at a later date as a free update.

“Classic RPGs are rare guests on consoles, and we are thrilled to introduce the complete Pathfinder experience to the console owners. And with the new turn-based combat, the players are about to get even more gameplay variety they expect from a game of this genre”, states Alexander Mishulin, Creative Director at Owlcat Games.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition is available for Xbox One and Playstation 4 now via retailers and the digital stores.
