Paul Blackthorne returning as Quentin Lance in Arrow’s final season

November 5, 2019 by Gary Collinson

He may have found himself on the wrong end of a bullet in the season six finale, but Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Paul Blackthorne is set to reprise his role as Detective Quentin Lance in Arrow’s eighth and final season.

At this point, it’s unclear exactly how Quentin will return, but Arrow has shown a knack for bringing back many of its deceased characters over its eight-year run, including the likes of Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlyn), Josh Segarra (Adrian Chase), Susanna Thompson (Moira Queen, and John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn).

News of Blackthorne’s return follows hot on the heels of the announcement that Emily Bett Rickards will also be returning as Felicity Smoak for the DC show’s series finale, which airs this December.

Arrow season 8 airs on Tuesdays on The CW.
