February 5, 2015 by Thomas Roach

Last week we learned that Kaya Scodelario was set for the female lead in the fifth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series, and now Variety is reporting three new additions to the movie.

Adam Brown (The Hobbit), Delroy Atkinson (Still Crazy) and Danny Kirrane (Automata) have all laned roles in the movie, which is set to start production this year in Australia.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set for release July 7th, 2017. The film is being directed by Joachim Rønning, and Espen Sandberg. Johnny Depp is set to return as Captain Jack Sparrow and Geoffrey Rush back as Captain Barbossa. Brenton Thwaites is set for the role of Henry, Javier Bardem is rumoured to be playing the film’s villain and Orlando Bloom could also be back as Will Turner.
