Possible Batman vs. Superman plot details surface

January 21, 2014 by admin

We’ve heard quite a bit about Ben Affleck’s Batsuit today (read Jennifer Garner’s thoughts here and Kevin Smith’s reactions here), but with the news that Batman vs. Superman has been pushed back to 2016, we can expect more and more rumours to come out about the Man of Steel sequel.

Such rumours are once again out and about. As always, take these with a pinch of salt.

So, some poster on a forum claimed to have sources within the art department of Warner Bros. who were working on the film and have since been fired. Clearly curious, the ‘scoopers’ at Latino-Review did their own research into the story and discovered while no one was fired, there were some union contractors who have “moved on” from the project due to its new release date.

Got your pinch of salt ready?

  • The villians are Lex Luthor and Metallo.
  • Batman forms a UN type deal to stop Superman from destroying another city.
  • Aquaman is in it, but not called Aquaman. He’s there because the world engine in the ocean did something to the fish.
  • Wonder Woman poses as a Wayne Enterprises investor to retrieve an item that belongs to her people.
  • Lex Luthor is in the shadows a lot, a manipulator. Not much face time with Superman.
  • Robin betrayed Batman at some point, leading to a falling out between them.
  • The Batcave was super cool looking, and the mobile looked similar to Tim Burton’s.
  • Lois is investigating Lex.
  • Metallo “kills” Clark.
  • The Daily Planet is bought by Lex Luthor for PR purposes.
  • At the end Superman is living in exile, and the Justice League is a government approved superhero team.
We at Flickering Myth cannot stress enough that this is all rumour at present and the original posting in question is full of “Cover Your Arse” reporting (read Gary Collinson’s breakdown here). But, if true, what do we think of the possible plot for Batman vs. Superman? Let us know in the comments below….
