Post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland arrives on PC this March

February 16, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Armor games has announced that Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland, the post apocalyptic pixel-art adventure from solo indie developer Scriptwelder, will arrive on PC on 11th March.  This point and click adventure will see players forced to survive a decimated Earth and figure out why it happened.

In Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland a terrible cataclysmic event has caused the Moon to crack in half causing complete and total devastation to the planet we call home.  Taking the role of David, a man who begins to have prophetic dreams, players will need to survive the Earth’s final four days while figuring out what caused the apocalypse and why his dreams, or nightmares, are coming true.

This point and click adventure will consist of several chapters that will see David facing one of several potential dangers, each of which has their own unique way of using items to survive.  They will also include different puzzles and scenarios that can be encountered for multiple playthroughs.  Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland will also unlock new content for new playthroughs if certain conditions are met by players.

Features:

  • Classic pixel art aesthetic and a creepy atmosphere.
  • Logical puzzles and exploration to challenge players.
  • Time mechanics; certain actions advance the clock in a race against time.
  • A post apocalyptic thriller, with an engaging storyline and cast.
  • A moody and fitting musical score.
  • Multiple variations for each chapter provide opportunities for multiple playthroughs with new content.

“This game is my biggest project ever. Thank you for your patience and I hope the finished game will be worth the wait.” Said veteran developer Scriptwelder.
