Practical Magic followed two witch sisters raised by their eccentric aunts in a small town, who are faced with closed-minded prejudice and a curse that threatens to prevent them from finding lasting love.
Practical Magic 2 will see Bullock and Kidman reprise their roles as Sally and Gillian Owens respectively from the 1998 original. There is no word on the sequel’s story or who else might join the cast yet, but with WB having chosen director Susanne Bier (Birdbox) to helm the film and now placing the date, it should not be long before further news is announced for the anticipated film.
Original screenwriter Avika Goldsman is returning to pen the sequel with Bullock, Kidman and Denise Di Novi producing.
Practical Magic 2 will be released on September 18th, 2026.
