NIS America and developer City Connection Co have announced that Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha is available now in North America exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. This exclusive collection will feature six of Psikyo’s greatest hits. Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo will release at a later date and include a further selection of hits.
Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha will feature:
- Strikers 1945 – The evil and mysterious C.A.N.Y. organisation seeks to take control of the world using powerful and destructive super weapons. Only the Strikers team can foil the organisation’s plans.
- Strikers 1945 II – The world is once again in peril thanks to the machinations of the F.G.R. faction and their massive mecha technology. Only the Strikers team can restore order.
- Strikers 1945 III – This third outing for the Strikers team is the first ever re-release and sees Earth threatened by a swarm of alien microbots known as “nanites” who have infiltrated Earth’s military bases. The Strikers team must use new vehicles to eliminate this extra-terrestrial threat.
- Sol Divide – Three powerful heroes rise from the masses to stop the evil emperor Ifter from becoming a demon and taking over the world.
- Dragon Blaze – Four Dragon Knight riders set out to slay the Demon King and fulfill their own legacy.
- Zero Gunner 2 – The Zero Gunner Squadron are called into action to free the world from the evil conglomerate Igem and their destructive ONI machine.
These classic shooters have been rendered in high definition and will provide players with the option to play in horizontal mode and vertical “TATE” Mode. There’s also the option to pass the Joy-Con to a friend and take part in some co-op shooty fun.
Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha is available now on Nintendo Switch in North America. European gamers will be able to purchase the game on Friday 24th January.
