Indie developer Silent Forest Games has announced it will be releasing the psychological horror multiplayer game, Prop Haunt, on Steam Early Access on 29th August. This 4v1 game of supernatural hide-and-seek will have players haunting objects as ghosts or tracking them down as investigators.
In Prop Haunt, players can play as one of 4 mischievous ghosts or as a lone investigator who must uncover and report the hauntings. As one of the ghosts, players can haunt everyday objects to expand their influence in the physical world. They can teleport between rooms, possess props to hide, and perform terrifying tricks to slow down the investigator, such as blackouts, slowdowns, and jump scares. As the investigator, players must use a variety of gadgets, including cameras to root out the spooks and a zapper to stun them.
When the game launches into Early Access, players will have access to 4 playable Ghosts, each with unique haunting styles. There will be 2 distinct maps to play over, both with plenty of locations for hiding and causing hauntingly good mischief. Players will be able to set up public and private lobbies, allowing gamers to either play with just friends or with strangers.
Throughout the Early Access period, Silent Forest Games will work closely with the community to further develop the game with new features, such as Investigator tools, procedural prop generation for endless replayability leaderboards, and more.
Get ready for Prop Haunt arriving on Steam Early Access on 29th August.
