The lines between delusion and reality blur in trailer for psychological thriller Mia

June 26, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Breaking Glass Pictures has shared a trailer for director Luis Ferrer’s psychological thriller Mia.

The film follows teenager Emma as she finds herself embarking on a harrowing journey of discovery with a troubled drifter, Aaron, who believes she is his long-lost daughter.

Featuring in the cast are Emiliana Jasper, Julie Lucido, Eden Ferrer, and Tim Willis. Check out the trailer below…

At the heart of MIA is Aaron (Motia), a desperate man convinced that Emma (Jasper) is actually his long-lost daughter, Mia. The problem? Emma insists she’s never seen him before. As Aaron spirals between certainty and madness, his claims of a shared past blur the line between delusion and reality. Who is telling the truth? And who is truly in danger?

Mia is set for release on July 8th.
