Robert Englund and seven more join Stranger Things Season 4

November 20, 2020 by EJ Moreno

Hawkins just added the most famous Elm Street resident. The always-great Robert Englund is joining the cast of the fourth season of Stranger Things. But he’s not alone as seven other new cast members have been added to the upcoming season, currently in production.

Netflix show has cast Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, and Joseph Quinn as series regulars. Robert Englund, best known for the iconic slasher Freddy Krueger, joins Game of Thrones alum Tom Wlaschiha, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, and Nikola Djuricko has recurring actors.

Bower will play Peter Ballard, a caring man who works as an orderly at a psychiatric hospital; Franco will play Jonathan’s new best friend Argyle, a fun-loving stoner pizza delivery boy for Surfer Boy Pizza; Quinn takes on the role of Eddie Munson, a metalhead who runs Hawkins High’s official D&D club; Augustus plays as Lt. Colonel Sullivan; and Mason Dye will play Jason Carver. On the Russian side of things, Wlaschiha will play Dmitri, a Russian prison guard who befriends Hopper; and Djuricko will play Yuri, a seedy and unpredictable Russian smuggler who loves bad jokes, cold hard cash, and crunchy style peanut butter.

Most interestingly, Englund will play Victor Creel. Creel is described as a disturbed and intimidating man imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s. Could we see him tackle a role as memorable as his late disturbed man known for some fairly gory murders? Only time will tell…

Returning cast members for Stranger Things include Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sadie Sink as Max, Maya Hawke as Robin, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair and Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman.
