According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rose Leslie – who plays the Wildling warrior Ygritte in Game of Thrones – has signed on to appear alongside Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious) in director Breck Eisner’s (Sahara, The Crazies) new film, The Last Witch Hunter.
The supernatural actioner will take place in modern New York and sees Diesel as a semi-immortal witch hunter who is forced to partner with a female witch (Leslie) in order to stop an evil witch queen from unleashing a plague upon humanity.
The Last Witch Hunter is due to start shooting next month, and a release date is yet to be announced.
