With 2017’s Wonder Woman gearing up to go into production this autumn, rumour merchant El Mayimbe has thrown up a couple of casting rumours for the film, claiming that Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) and Eva Green (300: Rise of an Empire) are wanted for roles.
Allegedly, Bean is in the frame to play Ares, the Greek god of war (who’ll surely die, if there’s any truth to the report), while Green is up for the role of Diana’s nemesis Circe.
Wonder Woman is being directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster) and will see Gal Gadot reprising her role from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as the Amazon Princess alongside Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.
