Russian sci-fi horror Sputnik gets a new trailer and poster

Ahead of its release next month, a trailer, poster and images have been released for the upcoming Russian sci-fi horror Sputnik. The film marks the feature debut for director Egor Abramenko and follows the sole survivor of a soviet spacecraft crash who may have unwittingly brought something dangerous back to Earth with him; take a look here…

At the height of the Cold War, a Soviet spacecraft crash lands after a mission gone awry, leaving the commanding astronaut as its only survivor. After a renowned Russian psychologist is brought in to evaluate the astronaut’s mental state, it becomes clear that something dangerous may have come back to Earth with him.

Sputnik is set for release on August 14th.
