Lovecraftian horror in a restroom in trailer for Shudder’s Glorious starring Ryan Kwanten and J.K. Simmons

Ahead of its world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival, a trailer, poster and images have been released for Shudder’s upcoming Lovecraftian horror Glorious.

Directed by Rebekah McKendry, the film stars Ryan Kwanten as a heartbroken man who finds himself trapped in a remote rest stop bathroom with a mysterious figure (J.K. Simmons) who speaks to him from an adjacent stall which tells him he may be the only hope of stopping a terrible event; take a look here…

 

Spiraling out after a bad breakup, Wes (Ryan Kwanten) ends up at a remote rest stop miles away from civilization. His situation worsens after he finds himself locked inside the bathroom with a mysterious figure (J.K. Simmons) speaking to him from an adjacent stall. As Wes tries to escape, he finds himself an unwilling player in a situation bigger and more terrible than he could possibly imagine…

Glorious premieres on Shudder on August 18th.
