Samuel L. Jackson battles dementia in trailer for The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer and a poster for the upcoming drama The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey. Based on the novel of the same name by Walter Mosley, the series stars Samuel L. Jackson as a man sinking into dementia who learns of a treatment that can restore his mind, which begins a journey into memories and truths about his past; take a look here…

“Ptolemy Grey, an ailing man forgotten by his family, by his friends, and by even himself. Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn, played by Dominique Fishback. When they learn about a treatment that can restore Ptolemy’s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present and future.”

Featuring in the cast of The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey are Samuel L. Jackson, Dominique Fishback, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Omar Miller, and Walton Goggins.

The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey premieres on Apple TV+ on March 11th.
