Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum-led Fly Me to the Moon premieres trailer

April 8, 2024 by EJ Moreno

Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum seem like a movie star dream team, and they’re taking their new film together to new heights.

The actors are set to star in Fly Me to the Moon, an upcoming romantic comedy from Greg Berlanti. Rose Gilroy wrote the script, and Bill Kirstein and Keenan Flynn are credited with the story. Producers are Johansson, Jonathan Lia, Keenan Flynn, and Sarah Schechter, with Robert J. Dohrmann serving as executive producer.

The film will take place against the backdrop of the Apollo 11 moon launch in 1968. Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Jim Rash, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Christian Zuber, Donald Elise Watkins, Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson round out the cast for the film. Check out the first trailer here and promotional images here…

Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum star as a 1960s ad shark and a by-the-book launch director on a mission set against the high-stakes backdrop of NASA’s historic moon landing.

Fly Me to the Moon, an Apple Original Film, will be in theaters, in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, on July 12, before later streaming on Apple TV+.
