Sci-fi puzzler Disc Room set for release this year, watch the trailer here

February 25, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Devolver Digital and developers Jan Willem Nijman & Kitty Calis (Minit), Terri Vellmann and Doseone have announced that they will be releasing their their sci-fi puzzler Disc Room later this year.  Disc Room takes players on an ultra-stylish expedition into the depths of an alien deathtrap.  See more of what this puzzler has to offer in the trailer below….

Disc Room takes players to the year 2089 and a Solar System where a giant disc has appeared in orbit of Jupiter.  Players will need to take their crew of international scientists on a mission inside the disk to discover the secrets it contains.

Those players brave enough to explore the interior of this alien vessel will face a labyrinth of interconnected death chambers filled with intelligent alien saw blades intent on slaughter.  But things aren’t as they seem as players will be able to absorb extraordinary abilities from the disks that cut them, abilities such as dash, bend time and even cloning will become possible the more the blades dice and slice.

Are you ready to get sliced in half? The year is 2089 and a giant disc has appeared in orbit of Jupiter. Step into the oversized space suit of a brave scientist and explore this sprawling intergalactic slaughterhouse.

Disc Room will be at this year’s Pax East event.
