Scott Derrickson’s The Black Phone gets a sinister first poster

Coinciding with its world premiere at Fantastic Fest, a creepy first poster has been released for Scott Derrickson’s upcoming horror The Black Phone which is based upon a short story by Joe Hill and reunites the director with his Sinister star Ethan Hawke and co-writer C. Robert Cargill; take a look at the poster here…

“After being abducted by a child killer and locked in a soundproof basement, a 13-year-old boy starts receiving calls on a disconnected phone from the killer’s previous victims.”

The Black Phone features a cast that includes Ethan Hawke (Sinister), James Ransone (It Chapter Two), Mason Thames (For All Mankind), Madeleine McGraw (Toy Story 4) and Jeremy Davies (Saving Private Ryan).

The Black Phone arrives in cinemas on January 28th.
