Scream 7 logo teases the next instalment in the slasher series

October 2, 2025 by Ricky Church

We’re still a good few months away from the release of Scream 7, which will see Neve Campbell return as Sidney Prescott after not starring in Scream VI, but while we await our first look at the slasher sequel we do now have an official logo for the film.

Scream 7 will be directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote the scripts for the first two Scream films and Scream 4. He’ll be stepping in to helm the seventh installment after some controversy behind this film which saw Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega and director Christopher Landon after Paramount and Spyglass Entertainment fired Barrera over comments she made on social media.

Neve Campbell also refused to appear in Scream VI citing a lack of respect for her pay as the main star of the franchise, but eventually agreed to a Scream 7 return after the dispute was settled.

Along with Campbell, Scream 7 will feature the return of several actors from across the franchise. Courteney Cox will reprise her role as Gale Weathers, along with Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin while David Arquette will return as Dewey Riley along with previous Ghostfaces Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley.

Newcomers to the franchise include Isabel May as Sidney’s daughter, Joel McHale as Sidney’s husband Mark Evans, Anna Camp, Mark Consuelos, Ethan Embry, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Michelle Randolph and Jimmy Tatro.

Scream 7 is set for release by Paramount Pictures on February 27th, 2026.
