Season 1 of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr arrives on consoles

November 6, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Neocore Games and Bigben have announced the arrival of Season 1 of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr on consoles.  Seasons are free content patches with a central theme and will feature new enemies, new investigations and new missions.  Season 1 will introduce the evil Dark Eldar, a new subsector to explore and a whole new storyline.  Find out more about the Dark Eldar in the trailer below…

The Dark Eldar (also known as Drukhari) are a cruel and sadistic xenos race that delight in torture, piracy and slavery.  The Drukhari are raiders, attacking sectors purely to kill and enslave populations and unfortunately for the citizens of the Triglav subsector the Drukhari are taking full advantage of the Warpsurges that have cut the sector off from the rest of the Imperium.

Inquisitors will encounter some of the most ruthless and dangerous aliens and take on troops including Wracks, Talos and Cronos Pain Engines, Incubi, the beautiful and deadly Succubi and the insane and wizened Haemonculi.

Season 1 on console will feature:

  • New enemy faction: Drukhari (Dark Eldar).
  • New subsector: Five new systems with numerous new points of interests.
  • New story: Three new investigations, focusing on the Dark Eldar.
  • Level cap increased from 50 to 70.
  • New achievements and trophies.

Until 21st November PS4 players can enjoy a 25% discount off the price of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr and PS Plus subscribers getting a whopping 50% discount.
