Season 9 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers brings new content

August 2, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Season 9 of DRAGON BALL THE BREAKERS is now available on PC and consoles.  This latest season for the hit game introduces new content to players, including a new raider and a new mechanic to operate events on a monthly basis. A new trailer can be seen below, showcasing the season’s new arrival.

The new raider arriving with this latest season is Broly(Z).  Starting as Paragus accompanied by Broly, players can decide whether to evolve to LV2 or wait for the automatic evolution to LV3. Should players choose to turn into Broly(Super Saiyan) at level 2, they will have to fight at this level until the evolution gauge is full enough to reach LV4. Alternatively, players can wait for Paragus to evolve from LV1 to LV3 Broly(Restrained), making it easier to reach LV4 and allowing him to use his full destructive powers.

As well as the arrival of Broly, Season 9 also gives Cell an update, giving him access to the “Make Them Suffer, Cell Juniors !”, a new active skill at LV4. This skill summons up to 7 autonomous Cell Jrs (up to 3 can be active at the same time) that automatically attack enemies.

Majin Buu also gets an expansion at LV4 with the new form, Majin Buu(Gohan Absorbed). Fights with Buu must be carried out over powerful Super Transpheres, as Buu needs to absorb them to evolve. This new form adds more stability to the “high-risk, high-reward” in late-game battles.
