Another star of The Wire has joined the cast of the immensely popular AMC series The Walking Dead.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Seth Gilliam is to join season 5 as a series regular. Gilliam will play “Michael”, billed as being “friendly with a puckish demeanour who also has a haunted side.” Interestingly, there’s talk that Michael is a decoy, with fans debating as to whether Gilliam will in fact be playing preacher Gabriel Stokes.
Gilliam joins The Wire cohorts Chad Coleman and Larry Gilliard Jr. in the cast of the series, which returns for its fifth season later this year.
