Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Sausage Party gets release date

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures have announced a release date for the R-Rated comedy Sausage Party from Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg,  Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir. The movie will be released one week before Sony’s own Amazing Spider-Man 3 on June 3rd 2016.

The Wolf of Wall Street star Jonah Hill also had a role in the story.

Sausage Party tells the story of a sausage trying to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, our hero sausage and his new friends embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the 4th of July sale.

Only from the minds of Rogen and Goldberg eh?

Sausage Party also features an impressive voice cast that includes Rogen, Jonah Hill (22 Jump Street), Kristen Wiig (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues), Salma Hayek (Grown Ups 2), Edward Norton (The Grand Budapest Hotel), David Krumholtz (Numb3rs), Nick Kroll (Parks and Recreation), Michael Cera (Juno), James Franco (Good People), Craig Robinson (This Is The End), Bill Hader (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs), Anders Holm (Workaholics), Paul Rudd (Marvel’s Ant-Man) and Danny McBride (Hell and Back).
