Skyfall cinematographer Roger Deakins not returning for Bond 24

February 19, 2014 by admin

While director Sam Mendes, screenwriter John Logan and star Daniel Craig are set for to reunite on the upcoming Bond 24, it seems that one key component of 2012’s blockbuster Bond adventure Skyfall is going to be absent from the reunion.

According to Kristopher Tapley of Hitfix, acclaimed cinematographer Roger Deakins (The Shawshank Redemption, No Country for Old Men) won’t be back for 007’s next adventure, leaving Mendes and company with some mighty big shoes to fill.

The as-yet-untitled Bond 24 is set for release in the UK on October 23rd 2015, and is due to hit North American cinemas on November 6th 2015.
