Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony Pictures, has announced the studio’s line-up for the next few years, with 16 films dated for release.

Amongst the biggest films scheduled include two sequels to hit action-comedy Bad Boys, along with a remake of the Robin Williams fantasy film Jumanji, which will hit cinemas on Christmas Day, 2016.

2016 will also showcase many more films, including the Jodie Foster-directed Money Monster starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts which bows April 16th; Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot has been moved up a week to July 15th; the remake of The Magnificent Seven, directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt has shifted to September 23rd; zombie flick Patient Zero opens September 2nd; while Jennifer Lawrence-Chris Pratt sci-fi drama Passengers opens December 21st.

Sony has also announced a fifth film in the Underworld franchise, which is set for Halloween (well, October 21st) of next year.

2017 has many more treats in store from Sony: Stephen King-adaptation The Dark Tower has been set for January 13th, 2017, which will be supported by Resident Evil: The Final Chapter on January 27th, the Barbie film on June 2nd and Baby Driver on March 17th. The studio’s adaptation of hit game Uncharted have been moved to June 30th, and The Lamb is due December 8th.

There was also an array of already-announced films that are key to Sony’s line-up. The new Spider-Man film (which is being co-produced by Marvel), is due on July 28th, 2017; an animated Spider-Man film from The Lego Movie creators Phil Lord and Chris Miller is due July 20th, 2018; The Equalizer 2 and the third Dan Brown adaptation Inferno are due September 29th 2017 and October 14th, 2016 respectively; while Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, starring Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Steve Martin, opens November 11th, 2016.
