Director Bryan Singer has taken to Twitter to reveal that the casting search for the younger Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm is over, with Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones), Tye Sheridan (Mud) and Alexandra Shipp (House of Anubis) signing on to play the characters in next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release May 19th, 2016 with James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast) and Evan Peters (Quicksilver) returning from X-Men: Days of Future Past and Oscar Isaac (A Most Violent Year) set to play Apocalypse.
