Space roguelite Fission Superstar X pushed back, will now release in Spring

January 19, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer Turbo Pelvis 3000 inc. has announced that the release date for their upcoming space roguelite game Fission Superstar X has been pushed back from January to this Spring.  This adjustment in the release date is to enable the developers to provide a more polished product to gamers on Xbox One and Windows PC.

Fission Superstar X is set in a more crazy version of our solar system that will see players set out in Dr. Leopold’s bomber on a desperate randomly generated bomb run.  Players will have access to a variety of unlockable ships with an assortment of weapons and will be able to choose from over 100 different crew members to man the ship.  The solar system isn’t as quiet as our own and players will encounter a huge amount of enemies including scavengers, giant insects and even fascist space cats.

The game will feature:

  • 9 unlockable ships.
  • More than 100 different crew members of different species to choose from.
  • Over 20 different environments to fight through, including space whale pods and planetary atmospheres.
  • Over 70 different hostile enemies and giant bosses out for blood.
  • 64 different weapons, including puny rifles to nuclear mortars.

Expect to die a lot in Fission Superstar X, coming this Spring.
