Spain sails into view in World of Warships: Legends’ September update

September 9, 2025 by Andrew Newton

World of Warships: Legends’ September update is upon us, bringing plenty of new content, such as the new Spanish cruisers, The Shield of Troy campaign, a Golden Tide event, the return of another Azur Lane collaboration, and more.

Spain sets out onto the high seas with new cruisers available via the Tech Tree line. There are several Tier I – VIII ships available to be unlocked, including the Júpiter, Navarra, Almirante Cervera, Galicia, Baleares, Asturias, Cataluña, and Andalucía. Plus, there’s a Legendary Tier ship coming in the future. Special Spanish Cruiser Crates can be obtained through the Shield of Troy campaign or the Armada Española Collection via the Armada Española Collection crates.

The update also introduces the Shield of Troy campaign. With 80 milestones for players to reach for, this campaign will give players the chance to earn credits, camouflages, boosters, experience, and Spanish Cruiser crates. Those who complete the campaign with admiralty backing will also get the Commonwealth premium Tier VIII cruiser Hector, alongside Commonwealth Commander Harold B. Farncomb.

September sees the arrival of the new Bound by Duty Calendar. Spread over three weeks, players will be able to complete daily tasks to earn crates, Commander Progression Items, and the Spanish Commander, Pascual Cervera y Topete. Pascual comes equipped with Enduring Spirit, which reduces all incoming damage, the Forewarned skill, which reduces the ship’s main battery reload time when detected, and the Honorable Sacrifice legendary skill, which increases the amount of shells in the cruiser’s Ready Rack.

There’s a wealth of ships available with the Golden Tides event. Players can earn these via the store and Sunduq crates, and will include ships like the German Legendary Tier destroyer Sharki, Soviet Tier VIII Premium battleship Mahtaga, Italian Tier VII Premium cruiser Mirage, U.S. Tier VI Premium battleship Kheper, and Japanese Tier IV Premium cruiser Desert Falcon. There are also new Commander guises to be earned.

Finally, Azur Lane makes a return with plenty of Commanders, ships, and skins from all collaboration events.

Log into World of Warships: Legends and take part in the excitement before it ends on 6th October.
