Spider-Man: Homecoming screenwriters developing sci-fi drama Proxy

August 30, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Vacation directors and Spider-Man: Homecoming screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have signed on to develop the one-hour sci-fi drama series Proxy for Fox.

Variety reports that the series revolves around “a technology that allows online followers to live voyeuristically through the experiences of hedonistic young “Proxies” on a remote island paradise.”

Fox has placed a pilot order script, with Daley and Goldstein writing, as well as executive producing alongside Michael Sugar (13 Reasons Why, The OA) of Anonymous Content.

Next up on the big screen from Daley and Goldstein is Game Night, which is set to open in February 2018 and stars Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, Jesse Plemons, Kylie Bunbury and Lamorne Morris.
