Star Cops to return with new audio adventures in 2026

October 20, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Big Finish has revealed details on the first three episodes of Star Cops: Conflict, a brand-new full-cast audio drama miniseries beginning in January 2026. Based on Chris Boucher’s 1987 TV series, Star Cops: Conflict will have the International Space Police Force (ISPF) investigate rising tensions and threats to peace.

The six-part miniseries stars the original TV series cast members reprising their roles. These include David Calder as Commander Nathan Spring, Linda Newton as Chief Superintendent Pal Kenzy, Trevor Cooper as Inspector Colin Devis, Philip Olivier as Inspector Paul Bailey, and Lynsey Murrell as Inspector Alice Okoro. The guest cast includes Ben Miles (Andor), Jessica Martin (Spitting Image), and Hannah Bristow (The Man Who Fell to Earth).

The first three instalments in this new miniseries are:

‘Suspicion and Sabotage’ by Andrew Smith – The Earth’s mineral resources are running out, and a planned mission to mine the asteroid belt is viewed with great suspicion. Tensions are running high with a series of sabotage events taking place on the Moon and an attempted assassination on Earth. Can the International Space Police Force find out what is happening before these events turn into all out war?

In ‘Shadow of the Moonlight’ by Mark Wright, the famous movie star Striker Torrance has been murdered and the ISPF have been sent to the Moon’s Rothchester-Remini hotel to investigate. While Nathan bonds with iconic star Coral Goldfinch, the team begin to uncover the dark secrets beneath Hollywood’s glossy veneer. Although the reasons behind Coral’s security team’s obstruction of the investigation, and the sender of the sinister messages, are unknown.

Finally, in ‘Prisoner and Escort’ by Roland Moore (to be released in March 2026), Alice Okoro returns from a mission to escort a prisoner back to the Moon. The prisoner, Mitchell Kane, has confessed to a murder on Mars, but Nathan believes he’s not telling the truth. Why has he confessed to a murder if he didn’t commit it, and if he isn’t the killer, then who is? The answer to these questions will bring shocking consequences to the ISPF.

Star Cops: Conflict will release monthly from January to March and September to November 2026. The complete bundle is available to pre-order as digital downloads now for £50.
