Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown confirms the show isn’t ending with season 3

November 21, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Millie Bobby Brown, one of the stars of Stranger Things, has confirmed that the show will not be ending with the upcoming season three.

Rumours spread very quickly in the world of film and TV, especially when it comes to incredibly popular series like Stranger Things. When star Millie Bobby Brown shared to Instagram a post that showed her crying after shooting finished for season three, some took it to mean that this was the end of the series altogether.

However, this isn’t the case at all, the show is planning to continue for a couple more seasons yet and Brown has confirmed this (and why she was crying) in a recent interview with The Late Show (via ComicBook.com):

“I’m just a very emotional person. When it comes to my closest people, like, I’m not good at goodbyes. Last day of the season. Of the season, not the show, the season. Watch Netflix call me after this, ‘You can’t say anything,’ okay, got it.”

Brown also said that a big part of her sadness was saying goodbye to co-star Saide Sink: “My nose gets really red when I cry. I was really crying. Those are real tears. So basically, what happened was I’m a very emotional person, I can’t say goodbye to people, it gives me serious sadness and anxiety, and so when I had to say goodbye to my best friend Sadie, I just broke down. Also, catering. That was a tough one.”

So don’t worry, Stranger Things fans. The show isn’t going anywhere for a while yet. Are you looking forward to season three?
