THR is reporting that The CW has tapped Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy to develop a new psychological thriller series entitled Epiphany.
Described as “being in the vein of Stanley Kubrick and Agatha Christie”, the project follows a group of gifted strangers recruited to a Gilded Age mansion to solve a complex code that lies within the structure’s walls.
Epiphany is being written by Spenser Cohen, who will executive produce alongside Levy, Anna Halberg and Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline), the latter of whom will also direct should it make it to pilot.
In addition to the upcoming second season of Stranger Things, Levy has several projects on his upcoming slate, most notably the Uncharted video game adaptation, which has Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland attached to play Nathan Drake.
