Strategy RPG Thea 2: The Shattering arrives on Steam Early Access

November 30, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer MuHa Games has announced the release of Thea 2: The Shattering on Steam Early Access.  This latest title from is the sequel to Thea: The Awakening, the critically well received 4x strategy, RPG, survival and card game hybrid.  The Early Access release of the game will provide gamers with co-op multiplayer as well as the core game experience.

Inspired by Slavic mythology and culture, Thea 2: The Shattering will see players take on the role of gods and ensure the survival of their faithful followers.  Players can decide on their favoured playstyle, whether it be leading their worshippers as a peaceful nomadic tribe or as a warlord led army of zealots.

Players will have access to a main quest and a number of side quests and experience exploration, battles, resource gathering, research and crafting, with the help from their worshippers of course.

As well as the various quests and missions, players will be able to join their friends for some co-op play, listen to an atmospheric musical score and enjoy the game’s moody visuals.

Thea 2: The Shattering will launch in Steam early access on November 30th. Turn-based, strategy -survival, 4X game with role playing and card game conflict resolution. All set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Slavic myth and folklore.

Thea 2: The Shattering is available now on Steam Early Access for £19.99 / $24.99 / €21.99.
