Street Fighter movie reportedly casts Walton Goggins and Orville Peck as M. Bison and Vega

June 8, 2025 by EJ Moreno

When it comes to fighting games, none are held in as high regard as Street Fighter. The iconic game spawned countless knock-offs and its spin-offs, but many also remember the films it launched.

Street Fighter 1994 is a cult classic, and the 2009 film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is hailed as one of the worst video game adaptations, so how would a potential third film fare? With this rumored cast, we are in for a treat. Per a report from The Insneider, Walton Goggins and singer-turned-actor Orville Peck are in the running for prominent roles in the Kitao Sakurai-helmed project.

Goggins, known for his many roles across film and television, is being eyed for the villainous role of M. Bison. Country musician Orville Peck, who just made his Broadway debut, is in talks to portray masked fighter Vega.

Eric Andre is also in talks for a role, which makes sense as Sakurai directed multiple episodes of The Eric Andre Show. There’s no word on who Andre could play, though.

The rumor mill for this cast has been quite strange, with potential Street Fighter actors including Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Jason Momoa as Blanka, and Roman Reigns as Akuma.

Capcom is reportedly heavily involved in the new take, which previously had Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou (Bring Her Back, Talk To Me) attached to the project.

Stay tuned to Flickering Myth for more Street Fighter updates.
