Survival action shooter Left Alive now available on Playstation 4 and Steam

March 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Square Enix has announced the launch of their new survival action shooter, Left Alive, on Playstation 4 and PC via Steam.  Developed by industry veterans Toshifumi Nabeshima, Takayuki Yanase and Yoji Shinkawa, Left Alive tells the story of survival in a war torn city.  Watch the game’s launch trailer below…

Left Alive tells a tale of survival from the viewpoint of three different protagonists, staff sergeant Mikhail, Nova Slava police force captain and Olga an ex-member of the rebels, during the invasion of their city in war torn Novo Slava.  Players will follow these three characters through multiple story paths and engage in frenetic gun battles against powerfully armed troops, armoured vehicles and towering mechs.

As well as fighting to survive, players will be challenged to discover alternate routes, craft useful traps and weapons to use against the enemy, save the civilians trapped on the battlefield and uncover the truth behind the war.

Left Alive is available now from the Playstation Store and Steam, and there’s also a limited Mech Edition available exclusively from the Square Enix store which includes the Day One Edition of the game, a Volk Action Figure, a Hardback Art Collection, exclusive SteelBook Case and Collector’s Box.
