Survival horror RPG Chernobylite leaves Early Access for full release

After a long journey through early access, All In! Games and indie developer The Farm 51 have fully released their survival horror RPG Chernobylite on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store for PC.  This full 1.0 release is a much heftier game than when it first released with the addition of 15 new story missions, 11 brand new characters, new weapons, maps and more.  A new launch trailer takes players into the Chernobyl exclusion zone…

Venture into the Chernobyl exclusion zone with Chernobylite and take the role of Igor, a former employee of the infamous Chernobyl power plant, as he tries to uncover the mysterious disappearance of his fiance, Tatiana.  Players will need to survive the irradiated landscape by building a base, gather materials with which to craft supplies and recruit a crew to help find out what happened to their beloved.  Igor must avoid Stalkers, military patrols , the harsh and unforgiving environment and even the supernatural dangers that are attracted to the ruined nuclear power plant and its inhospitable surroundings.

Players will be able to utilise various workstations to craft gadgets, traps and weapons and even modify existing equipment.  Recruiting a team to help with the search is vital and each day will require players to plan and assign resources and tasks to their comrades.

This horror survival features:

  • Explore an accurate 3D-scanned recreation of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
  • Collaborate or compete with other stalkers of the Zone.
  • Survive the natural and supernatural threats.
  • A non-linear, thrilling, science-fiction horror story.
  • Use physics and chemistry know-how to craft equipment and manage supplies.
  • Fight against the vicious supernatural creatures entering the world from an alternate reality.
  • Investigate and collect data with a set of sophisticated environment and substance analysis tools.

“Our completed labour of love is finally available to PC players all over the world and we want to thank our community for their amazing support over the years that helped us achieve this goal. We did it together!” said Wojciech Pazdur, Director of Development at The Farm 51. “The PC release is far from the end of our development roadmap though. We’re hoping to announce our post launch plans very soon, so stay tuned.”

It seamlessly combines a variety of genres and wraps them up in the most realistic recreation of the Exclusion Zone to date,” said Piotr Żygadło, CEO at All in! No playthrough of Chernobylite is the same and the decisions made will influence how the story develops.
