Survival RPG Decision: Red Daze coming this May

April 28, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Nordcurrent Labs and developer FlyAnvil have announced that their post-apocalyptic action RPG Decision: Red Daze will be releasing on Steam and GOG on 19th May.  This isometric action RPG will mix elements from both survival and tower defence games and place gamers in a post-apocalyptic world that will appeal to fans of the Wasteland and Fallout franchises.  A new trailer can be seen below celebrating the upcoming release and showcases the post-apocalyptic action.

In the world of Decision: Red Daze, a nightmarish bacteria has become airborne and spread across the wasteland known as the Dust Bowl.  The Red Daze leaves chaos, destruction and horribly mutated monsters in its wake and the remaining humans must attempt to survive and either find a cure for this pandemic or escape it.

As one of these survivors it is up to players to survive the hellish wastes and the hostiles within.  Create a safe haven from the zombies and mutants and seek out other survivors to help expand and defend the base.  As well as defending bases using tower defence game mechanics, players will also venture out into the wastes with a squad to seek out food, ammo and other supplies, plus there’s always the chance to find a more deadly weapon to use against the monsters.

Featuring:

  • A blend of action RPG, survival, crafting and tower defence mechanics.
  • A day/ night cycle that affects enemy behaviour.
  • Expand your team of survivors with new heroes, each with their own skills and abilities.  Each member can be controlled so make as many friends as you can.
  • A huge selection of lethal weaponry available to find, craft and use on the abominations.
  • Discover, capture and upgrade other survivor settlements so they can defend themselves from the enemies that will attack them every night.

Decision: Red Daze will arrive on Steam and GOG on 19th May.
