Bohemia Interactive has released Tempest, the latest season for their popular shooter Vigor. This 24th Season includes a new-look battle pass, a new weapon, challenges, and plenty more for survivors to do in post-apocalyptic Norway.
In this new season of the free-to-play looter-shooter, the fog is creeping in across the Outlands and a deadly storm is closing in. Players who strike first, and manage to keep their heads above the flood waters will survive.
The season of the Tempest is upon us and players will take the fight to the high ground with four new Elimination arenas on Batterie Draug. With battles from the central area and shoreline to the hill and cannons, players will enjoy a high-intensity Elimination experience.
Tempest brings a new Challenge System that gives players more reasons to log in every day. There are revamped Daily and Seasonal Challenges, and rotating Event Challenges such as Airdrop Hunt, Outlands Duty, and Terminal Call. Plus, a new Halloween Hunt will arrive in October.
With the new military-themed Battle Pass, players will be able to battle through the swamp and unlock a range of goodies, including camouflage uniforms, helmets, masks, and more, that will help them blend in with the environment. On the subject of equipment, players can now get their hands on the PP-19 SMG, which provides an excellent rate of fire that is ideal for suppressing enemies.
Season 24 also brings more Legendary Gear and Perks, with the Bayou Reaper Pack, filled with exclusive Cosmetics, Weapons, Consumables, Booster Tickets, and Crowns. The Golden Redfish Pack: A limited-time Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perk with cosmetics and a loadout, and the PlayStation Plus exclusive Thornveil Reward, which is filled with lethal Cosmetics and gear.
Tempest also brings new emotes, QOL improvements, UI upgrades and more, so enter the storm now with Vigor, and survive.
