Syberia 3 arrives on Nintendo Switch

October 18, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Microids have announced the release of Benoît Sokal’s Syberia 3 on the Nintendo Switch.  Along with the upcoming release of Syberia 1+2 on the 8th November, players will be able to follow (or revisit) all of Kate Walker’s adventures.

In Syberia 3 players will follow the adventure of former New York lawyer, Kate Walker as she travels through the enchanting lands and desolate wastelands of the mythical island of Syberia with the Youkol people as they join the migration of the snow ostriches to their sacred lands and breeding site.  Kate’s journey will not be an easy one as enemies are in close pursuit and unexpected encounters will challenge all her abilities.

On 8th November Switch players will be able to see how Kate’s journey first began in Syberia 1+2.  In Syberia, Kate Walker sets off in search of genius inventor Hans Voralberg in order to complete the sale of a former automaton factory in the Alps.  In Syberia 2 Kate gives up her life in New York to join Hans Voralberg in his search for the legendary mammoths of Syberia.

Benoit Sokal, author and art director of Syberia’s saga said, “Kate Walker therefore continues her imaginary wandering like a lost star no longer constrained by its sun. Through this Eastern European landscape sublimely tired by wars and utopias”.

Syberia 3 is available now.
