TAITO Milestones 3 brings ten classic games to Nintendo Switch this December

November 29, 2024 by Andrew Newton

There’s not long to go now before TAITO Milestones 3 releases on Nintendo Switch on 10th December but there’s still time to pre-order and take advantage of a 10% discount. This latest Milestones offering brings 10 arcade classics from the 80s and early 90s that are sure to tickle the nostalgia bone of gamers who remember these greats from back in the day.

The TAITO Milestones 3 will take players on a journey through ten classic games, including the legendary platformer Bubble Bobble and its sequel Rainbow Islands (unfortunately, it doesn’t include Parasol Stars but that is available separately on the Nintendo eShop).  Players both new and old will find enjoyment, challenge, addiction and excitement in this incredible arcade collection.

The games available in this wonderful collection are:

  • Bubble Bobble (1986) – Join Bub and Bob in their original adventure through 100 fabulous levels.  Use their bubble blowing power to trap and defeat the monsters and rescue their girlfriends.
  • Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 (1987) – Help Bub and Bob in their human forms to climb up various levels using rainbow power and save the inhabitants captured by Boss of Shadow.
  • Cadash (1989) –  Choose between a fighter, mage, priest or ninja to defeat the evil Baarogue and rescue Princess Sarasa.
  • Rastan Saga (1987) – Join Rastan the Thief on a journey to battle enemies and the monstrous dragon in this action platformer.
  • Rastan Saga 2 (1988) – As a prequel to the orginal, set out on a quest to defeat enemies and protect the holy city of Rastania.
  • Warrior Blade (1991) – In this third game in the Rastan trilogy, set out into the wilds at the end of the earth and seek out vast riches.
  • Champion Wrestler (1989) – Use wrestling techniques, ringside brawls and weapons to defeat opponents through 8 rounds to become the champion.
  • Runark (1990) – Featuring couch co-op, play as a squad of rangers to save animals from poachers. Destroy the poachers using a variety of weapons from knives to rocket launchers.
  • Thunder Fox (1990) – A shoot-em-up that puts players in the Thunder Fox anti-terrorism team. Drive tanks, pilot autogyros and ride marine jets to defeat the terrorists threatening the world.
  • Dead Connection (1992) – In this shoot-em-up, take control of a 1950’s detective and stand up to the mafia that are infesting the city. Defeat the gangsters and take down Don Nerozzia.

TAITO Milestones 3 will launch on 10th December on Nintendo Switch and is available to pre-order now.
