The Batman set photos feature Superman and Wonder Woman… sort of

Okay, so it’s not quite the next incarnation of the Justice League, but the latest spy photos and video from the set of The Batman have surfaced online and feature a couple of very familiar faces (or costumes, at least) from the DC Universe in Superman and Wonder Woman!

As you can see below, the photos show a couple of extras dressed as Superman and Wonder Woman from what is said to be a Halloween party scene. Obviously this isn’t supposed to be the ‘real’ Superman and Wonder Woman, but if people are dressing up as them then it seems safe to assume that both the Man of Steel and the Amazon Princess must actually exist and be active in the world of Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight.

The Batman sees Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse) donning the cape and cowl as Bruce Wayne/Batman alongside Zoe Kravitz (Big Little Lies) as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Paul Dano (Escape at Dannemora) as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis (War for the Planet of the Apes) as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro (The Big Lebowski) as Carmine Falcone, Alex Ferns (Chernobyl) as Commissioner Pete Savage, Con O’Neill (Ordinary Lies) as Chief Mackenzie Bock, Peter Sarsgaard (The Killing) as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk) as Officer Stanley Merkel and Jayme Lawson (Farewell Amor) as Bella Real.
