Lionsgate has shared the first clip from Rupert Sanders’ remake of The Crow which sees Bill Skarsgård’s Eric Draven attempting to take down armed assailants within the confines of a car before suffering some rather gruesome injuries after being ejected from the vehicle. Watch it below…
“Soulmates Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.”
From director Rupert Sanders, Bill Skarsgård leads the cast of The Crow as Eric Draven, with FKA Twigs (Honey Boy) co-starring. Danny Huston (30 Days of Night) also stars alongside Laura Birn (Foundation), Sami Bouajila (A Son), and Jordan Bolger (The Woman King).
The Crow hits theaters on August 23rd.
