The Flash season 4 villain revealed

June 2, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in March, The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that, for the first time, the upcoming fourth season of the DC show would not feature a speedster as its primary antagonist, and now TVLine has revealed just who Barry Allen will be going up against in the new season.

The site is reporting that the main villain for season four will be Clifford DeVoe, a.k.a. The Thinker. This likely won’t come as a surprise to fans of the show, as an appearance from DeVoe was teased by both Abra Kadabra and Savitar during the third season.

If you’re unfamiliar with The Thinker, the character was crated by Gardner Fox and E.E. Hibbard, and made his debut in All-Flash #12 way back in 1943. A failed lawyer turned supervillain, The Thinker possesses a metal ‘Thinking Cap’ which grants him telekinesis and mind control abilities.

The Flash will return to The CW this fall. Follow all of our coverage here.
