The Gilded Age season 3 teaser announces summer premiere

May 2, 2025 by Ricky Church

HBO’s period drama The Gilded Age has announced the premiere date of its third season with the release of the teaser trailer for the upcoming seasopn.

The Gilded Age stars Carrie Coon, who just came off the third season of HBO’s other hit series The White Lotus, as the matriarch of a wealthy New York family representing new money among the old aristocracy of inherited wealth. The series was created by Downton Abbey‘s Julian Fellowes and examines similar themes of the privileges of the wealthy and the differences between the old and new money as well as the domestic workers in their home and businesses. Check out the teaser below…

The American Gilded Age was a period of immense economic and social change, when empires were built, but no victory came without sacrifice. Following the Opera War, the old guard is weakened and the Russells stand poised to take their place at the head of society. Bertha sets her sights on a prize that would elevate the family to unimaginable heights while George risks everything on a gambit that could revolutionize the railroad industry — if it doesn’t ruin him first. Across the street, the Brook household is thrown into chaos as Agnes refuses to accept Ada’s new position as lady of the house. Peggy meets a handsome doctor from Newport whose family is less than enthusiastic about her career. As all of New York hastens toward the future, their ambition may come at the cost of what they truly hold dear.

The Gilded Age stars Carrie Coon, Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Morgan Spector, Louisa Jacobson, Denée Benton, Ben Ahlers, Michael Cerveris, Kelley Curran, Taissa Farmiga, Jack Gilpin, and more. Season 3 will also be introducing Phylicia Rashad, Brian Stokes Mitchel, Victoria Clark, Jordan Donica, Merritt Wever, Leslie Uggams, Bill Camp, Lisagay Hamilton, Jessica Frances Dukes, Andrea Martin, Hatti Morahan, and Paul Alexander Nolan.

The Gilded Age season 3 will premiere on June 22nd.
