The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard trailer teases a killer threesome

April 13, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Lionsgate has debuted the first trailer and a new poster for Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, the follow-up to the 2017 action comedy The Hitman’s Bodyguard, which sees returning star Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek teaming up on a life threatening mission; check them out here…

The world’s most lethal odd couple – bodyguard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) and hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) – are back on another life-threatening mission. Still unlicensed and under scrutiny, Bryce is forced into action by Darius’s even more volatile wife, the infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid (Salma Hayek). As Bryce is driven over the edge by his two most dangerous protectees, the trio get in over their heads in a global plot and soon find that they are all that stand between Europe and a vengeful and powerful madman (Antonio Banderas).

Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is set for release on June 16th in the US and on June 23rd in the UK and sees Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek, and Richard E. Grant reprising their roles from the original 2017 film alongside new additions Antonio Banderas, Morgan Freeman, Frank Grillo, and Tom Hooper.
