The Doctor’s greatest villain The Master has been rumoured to return in Peter Capaldi’s debut series of Doctor Who.
While attending the Newcastle Film and Comic Con, former Doctor Sylvester McCoy claimed that The Master will indeed return, but not in the form of John Simm. Of course McCoy chose not to reveal as to who would be playing the character but he did say that the actor in question is “very scary”.
This has to be taken with a pinch of salt but rumours continue to flow linking Eastender’s actor Steve John Shephard to The Master. It would be an interesting piece of casting, and he certainly has the charm needed to play the Doctor’s foe.
