The Sacrifice quest coming this week to Warframe

Canadian developer Digital Extremes have announced they will be bringing their latest offering in the line of popular Cinematic Quest updates to Warframe on PC this week.  Titled ‘The Sacrifice‘, this latest story centric update will include more goodies and more challenges.  Want to see more of ‘The Sacrifice‘? ‘The Sacrifice‘ will lead players on a quest to seek out a savage new Warframe and the plight of The Lotus and Ballas.  This quest will be available to all players providing they have completed the previous stories – The Second Dream, The War Within, Chains of Harrow and the Apostasy Prologue.

This latest quest update features:

  • Umbra, At Last: Ferocious and untamed, Umbra’s fury is second only to his mastery of the blade. Complete The Sacrifice to discover the power of Umbra.
  • A brand new UI with a revamped inventory menu, customisable UI themes, updated vendor menus (like Baro, Syndicates, etc.) and new UI sounds across all menus.
  • Ancient Orokin Tenno customisations.
  • Umbra Armour: Eclipse the darkness of Umbra with this Armour Set for any Warframe.
  • Umbra Operator Cosmetics: Adorn your Operator with these ascendant Cosmetics.
  • A set of Umbra related items including Hooded Scarf, Umbra Blindfold, Umbra Diadem, Umbra Earpiece, Umbra Kubrow Armour and Umbra Kavat Armour.
  • Ability Weapons such as Excalibur’s Exalted Blade And Valkyr’s Talons can now be modded in the arsenal.
  • Brand new Umbra Profile Glyphs available for your profile.
  • A new Captura scene based to show off Fashion Frames.

Warframe players can also use the promo code “OLDFRIEND” for a free Orokin Tea Set Decoration and a 3-Day Affinity Booster which is available until 20th July.

‘The Sacrifice‘ will be available to PC Warframe players this week.
