The Walking Dead’s new spinoff series gets a first teaser trailer

August 1, 2019 by Gary Collinson

The as-yet-untitled spinoff – the franchise’s second after Fear the Walking Dead – is set to “focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.”

The series has been created by Scott Gimple and Matt Negrete, and will star Alexa Mansour (Unfriended: Dark Web), Nicolas Cantu (The Good Place), Aliyah Royale (The Red Line) and Hal Cumpston (Bilched). It is set to begin production on a ten-episode first season later this year ahead of a 2020 premiere.
