Third major update arrives for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands next week

December 4, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Ubisoft has revealed that they will be releasing Special Operation 3 for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands on all platforms on 11th December for Year 2 Pass owners and 18th December for none pass owners.  This is the third free major update for the second year of post launch content and will feature a brand new PvE mission, new PvP maps and classes and much more.

Special Operation 3 introduces a brand new PvE themed mission and new rewards.  There will also be the introduction of two new PvP classes inspired by the events of Special Operation 3’s themed mission.

For those who enjoy a spot of PvP action, this third major update will introduce two new PvP maps.

A new Photo Mode will be added that will allow players to capture their most favourite of moments during the game.  Players can then take these screenshots and edit them by applying effects or filters and then share these online using the computer’s/console’s capture system.

As well as all the above, Special Operation 3 adds more than 90 new items, including a new theme pack, plus changes coming soon to the Prestige Economy.

Special Operation 3 will arrive on all platforms next Tuesday for Year 2 Pass owners and on the 18th December for all other players.
