Tim DeKay joins Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Agent Ward’s brother

October 1, 2014 by James Garcia

According to Zap2It, White Collar actor Tim DeKay has joined Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Grant Ward’s older brother. He’ll make his debut in the sixth episode of the new season, titled “A Fractured Rose.”

DeKay will play Senator Maynard Ward, who General Glenn Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) made reference to in last night’s episode when talking about a “senator with deep pockets.” Based on the stories Grant told of his brother in season 1, he was abusive to him when they were children which led to Grant burning down their family home and eventually falling into the hands of HYDRA. And you thought your siblings were bad…

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Tuesday nights on ABC.
